Several years ago I wrote a book, The Garden. I discussed a number of issues related to knowing and loving your spouse in the context of a marriage grounded in the Christian faith. Many people have told me how much the book has helped them, and nothing makes me happier. It was the fruit of hard-won experience, and God promises that what he gives to one is meant for the benefit of all.
I believe this book will bring illumination, clarity, and wisdom, if you read that book. The purpose of marriage is far greater than our expectation are of one another. God had a plan before time begin for marriage. There are times in order to go forward we must journey backwards to view God biblical perspective about His intention of marriage. The challenges we face in every marriage, stem from understanding, love, bloodline curses and soul ties. I think traditional cultures have enshrined us to think that marriage is just about modernization, I beg to differ. The solution, however, is the gospel of Christ, for it both humbles us and exalts us at the same time.
Marriage is not a emotional pledge or contract it is a covenant. Contract can be voided not covenants, your commitment is not just to your spouse. What makes every marriage legal is the covenant is the bond we make with Jesus Christ. We are married to him as well, if we feel we are coming apart within our marriage, we have access to go back to Jesus who is the mediator and the strength of the marriage. If the premise of our marriage was congruently established on physicality’s, finances, and romances, when that fail we would feel vulnerable and defeated. Love is the outcome of every Christian marriage. What is God understanding of love, patience, understanding, humility, and forgiving. What is God perspective on divorce, I believe if we can study these topic from God point of view, we will have a better outcome and the book The Garden reveal interesting truths about marriage.
